Capabilities Statement
Overview
Forgov Solutions — a minority-owned IT firm specializing in enterprise infrastructure, cloud, data center, and network security — needed a capabilities statement to pursue federal government contracts across multiple NAICS and PSC codes. The document had to meet the specific content requirements of government procurement while positioning the firm's past performance and differentiators competitively.
What I Built
- Built a custom client intake form to systematically collect company information, core competencies, past performance data, certifications, and contract codes before writing a single word
- Wrote the full capabilities statement: objective statement, core competencies, past performance narratives for clients including Korn Ferry and Truist Bank, and competitive differentiators
- Positioned Forgov Solutions for bids across NAICS codes 541512, 541513, and 541519, and PSC codes spanning IT, telecom, and professional support services
- Managed client discovery, revision, and delivery
